Completing a Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology Ashleigh Neale Graduated achieving the accolade of Highest Academic Achiever in both 2011 and 2012. Her work has been exhibited in multiple shows across Queensland and her bridal design featured in Queensland Brides magazine. With a passion for made to measure garments, Ashleigh moved to Melbourne to pursue her studies.

Ashleigh has completed her final year of Costume for Performance at Swinburne University of Technology TAFE, with high distinctions in every area and a passion to continue to learn and grow throughout the industry. To develop her skills Ashleigh has completed industry placement with The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia, The Children’s Performing Company of Australia, Creature Technology and Ministry of Dance.

After one week of industry placement with The Australian Ballet Ashleigh was offered a position through the remainder of the seasons of La Sylphide and Cinderella.

During her graduate year Ashleigh was appointed the role of Co-coordinator of the 2013 Swinburne Graduate showcase Construct-Stories Through Cloth. During this role Ashleigh was involved in all aspects of the show from fundraising, budgeting, casting, liaison and heading the back stage team. The show was a fabulous success with roaring reviews and a collective fundraising effort of over $15,000. Ashleigh was also awarded a Fabric sponsorship through a design competition held buy The Dancing Queen.

Since Graduating Ashleigh rejoined The Australian Ballet for the season of Art to Sky before taking a position with Melbourne Theatre Company where she is currently working.
